Diabetes is a problem with your body that causes blood glucose (sugar) levels to rise higher than normal. This is also called hyperglycemia. Type 2 diabetes is the most common form of diabetes and approximately 30 million Americans have the condition today.
In an effort to further treatment and prevention, Meridien Research is looking for volunteers to evaluate the effectiveness of a type 2 diabetes medication. You may be eligible to participate if you:
» have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes
» take insulin currently
» additional eligibility criteria also apply
Eligible participants 18+ years of age will receive study-related care, monitoring and medication or placebo at no cost. Compensation for time and travel may be available.
