Fragmented sleep at night and frequent napping during the day can make living with Alzheimer’s disease even more frustrating and scary. To find out more about the impact of irregular sleeping at night and napping during the day has on Alzheimer’s disease, Meridien Research is conducting a study of a medication designed to aid with these symptoms. To qualify, individuals must:
- Be 60 to 90 years of age
- Have Alzheimer’s disease
- Wake up frequently during the night and nap often during the day
- Have a study partner knows the individual well.
Eligible participants will receive study-related care, monitoring and study drug or placebo. Reimbursement for travel will be available to participants and their caregivers who qualify.
